khakis2020.com

Online Store for Khakis, which is an editorial shop and original brand rooted in vintage American casualwear.

Our team designed and developed whole e-commerce storefront system. The system is rooted in Atomic Design System, which has powerful structure for solving high-level complexity.

As using Shopify for e-commerce platform, we built headless storefront based on Storefront API and Admin API of them.

We aimed to show 'images' rather than other things, so most of the UI elements have no decoration stuff like padding, border-radius, transitions and more. Therefore, the website seems cleaner and simpler and user can focus on the 'images' first.

Collection page also follows the rule. A product grid has 4 column grid, which connects with 12 column grid of the system. This makes customers can browse products more directly.

Also, there is a filter feature to browse items by brand, category, color, and size. Because Khakis is editorial shop which has a lots of brands.

Product page has unique design. The 3 column grid has a balance of each sections like title, size, and CTA, and descriptions. The layout is designed for present a keyword 'editorial' and 'vintage', inspired by old magazines and papers.

Bunch of pages strictly follow the grid, so the system could be more distinct.
